It’s a tragedy that in Anne Arundel County (and many other local political jurisdictions) there is no trusted arbiter to sort through such he-said, she-said allegations. But in the absence of such an arbiter, the public is still better off in having such he-said, she-said debates because at least important public issues are brought to light that way.

Unfortunately, it’s very hard to even get such he-said, she-said debates, since very few people are willing to engage in public pissing contests that are harmful to the contestants (e.g., Collins and McMillian) while helping to inform the public.
